February 25, 2019 (Edmonton, Alberta) – As a start to 2019, Rohit Group of Companies is thrilled to announce their nomination as a finalist for 23 awards at the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) Edmonton Awards of Excellence in Housing. Rohit Group is proud to have been awarded the Industry Leadership award for the past five years in recognition of the organization’s continued community involvement, industry innovation, professional development, environmental initiatives and workplace safety.
Within these 23 nominations, Rohit Group placed in a number of categories including Advertising, Sales Volume, Community, and Industry Leadership among others. “While the home-building industry evolves and our organization grows, we continue to see a strong culture and commitment from our team for our homeowners and industry partners,” said Adil Kodian, Vice President, Rohit Communities. “It is always an honour to stand among our industry peers in Edmonton as we’re collectively recognized by the Awards of Excellence.”
Among the nominations was the rebrand of Rohit Communities, inspired by six magazine-worthy Designer Interiors brought to Rohit’s award-winning line of townhomes, duplexes and single family homes. The new brand and positioning establishes Rohit as “your designer home builder.” With creative that is highly stylized and unique within the industry, the concept is framed around providing attainably priced designer homes with no need to upgrade any finishes.
Arbours of Keswick was also nominated for both Best New Community as well as Best Showhome Parade. Located near to the North Saskatchewan River, this southwest Edmonton community features the Gordon King pond which includes green space and walking trails along with an upcoming K-9 public school. The single family showhome parade is complete with a parking lot and a 9-hole mini golf course available to those visiting the community.
Another exciting nomination came from the “Grease” parody-inspired recruitment video which features team members from Rohit Group. It was created to showcase the organization’s strong corporate culture while nurturing a fun work environment and offering a challenging career to inspire job candidates.
Every year the CHBA Awards of Excellence in housing recognizes leaders in the home building industry for design, marketing, sales, and community development in Edmonton and Area. There are many strong builders and nominees in the real estate industry, and the awards are a celebration of the extraordinary work that has characterized this fast-paced and constantly evolving industry. Winner announcements will take place on March 16, 2019.
